Coping Strategies to Support Families with a Loved One Struggling with Addiction During the Holidays

Addiction is a complicated disease and family members are profoundly impacted when a loved one develops an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. Many families face significant challenges in responding to a loved one’s addiction including frustration, emotional challenges, exhaustion, and poor self-care, which can be elevated especially during the holidays.
This webinar training is hosted in partnership with the Hope Partnership Project and the Addiction Policy Forum and will discuss effective coping strategies and key principles of communication strategies and self-care tips to support families and caregivers with a loved one struggling with addiction during the holidays.
