Reentry Best Practices for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders
This course was developed by Addiction Policy Forum, The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center, and JCOIN to share the best practices that correctional, community-based behavioral health, and probation and parole agencies can implement to ensure successful reentry for people who have substance use disorders.
The course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and will cover topics from screening and assessment, withdrawal management, medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), behavioral interventions, recovery capital and developing a relapse prevention plan.
