Understanding Overdose Risk and Medication Efficacy
State and local leaders play a critical role in reducing overdose deaths and promoting evidence-based practices to treat people with substance use disorders (SUD) in their communities.
This JCOIN course developed by CSG Justice Center and Addiction Policy Forum provides an introduction to treatment and medications to treat opioid use disorder (OUD). Participants will also hear from patients about their experiences with treatment and how medications played a significant role in their recovery.
Certificates of participation are provided upon completion of the course.
